Animal chiropractic is a non-surgical, drug-free way to help pets and other animals move better and feel healthier. It involves adjusting the spine and joints to correct subluxations, which can disrupt the body's normal function.

Subluxations, or central segmental motor control (CSMC) problems, can interfere with the nervous system, leading to issues like lameness, pain, sensitivity to touch, and behavioural changes. Even subtle signs can indicate that an animal’s spine and nervous system are not working properly together.

Chiropractic care for animals treats existing problems and maintains overall health. Regular adjustments improve organ system function, enhancing mobility, flexibility, endurance, and performance while reducing injury risk.

The goal is to restore and maintain normal movement and function in the musculoskeletal system, allowing for optimal neurological function and overall health. It’s a key part of an animal’s wellness program, helping them live their best lives.

Common causes of subluxation include physical injuries, pain, inflammation, and stress. By addressing these issues with specific spinal adjustments, we can improve your animal's neuromuscular function, helping them feel better, move more efficiently, and perform at their absolute best.

PS. I know the tile of this post was for animals, but it works the same way in humans. Generally it works a lot faster - less stress on the system (like not having to sit in traffic or worry about mortgage payments!) means less work for the chiro!
